The modules and content within these courses are designed to provide support and training to new and existing workers in the industry. Participants will learn about the importance of the role of a Youth Residential Worker in each State along with relevant legislation and practises. Participants will find useful strategies to provide positive therapeutic supports to children and young people who have complex behaviours, trauma and reflect on their existing practise.
